Catafalque Candles : 14th St NW DC

"Death to Winter" was the reverent theme of Redeem's spring clothing line preview. Three antique candle holders flanked an equally aged wicker casket filled with greenery. Considering the Catholic ceremony where six floor candles surround an empty casket in remberance of a deceased, this installation symbolizes the end of winter and ushers in the store's spring collection.
