Metal Art, Antique Hall Tree : Bloomingdale, DC

It must have been the first quarter moon that set the centuries in motion... This city row house, flaunting its historic hardwood floors and tin ceiling, adds a modern, orange-painted dancing women metal sculputure (circa 1980) to complement a colorful Tibetian cabinet. Also in play is an antique, hand-carved oak Renaissance-style hall tree (foreground, circa 1880) perfect for coats and hats in the cooling October weather. There are two tin-bases in the oak stand to catch water from wet autumn umbrellas. Metal Art; Antique Hall "Tree": Acquired October 2014
