Sculpture - M. Nicolet's Boat Ride: Harwood, Md

Kelly Guerrero's sculpture is made in part with wood gathered under water while he was swimming near a friend's family cabin on Lake Michigan. The title, "M. Nicolet's Boat Ride" refers to the French missionary credited with discovering Lake Michigan in the 1700s. The piece, above water now, soars in the tree tops over the West River.
