Off The Beaten Track 

Working in encaustic as a medium has opened up a whole new world of layering opaque and transparent colors for Nancy. She uses color, patterns and three dimensional textures on her pieces. Using hot wax, which is difficult to control, she is challenged to use her imagination and be spontaneous in this ancient art form. Nancy is an award-winning graphic designer specializing in exhibition graphics. She works full time as the Senior Graphic Designer at the Freer and Sackler Galleries at the Smithsonian.
