Fontana Forge LLC produces elegant furniture, furnishings and giftware for wholesale and retail. John’s mentor was the late Bill Gichner of Gichner Ironworks, foremost in Washington, DC for one hundred years. Training and education continued in three British shops and in the museum and libraries of Paris. Thus, it is modern French ironwork that inspires the furniture line. John’s first exhibition was an international one: Towards a New Iron Age, Victoria & Albert Museum, London.
